Researcher / PhD Candidate — Agent-Based Modelling of the Circular Economy

PhD candidate position at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in Delft, Netherlands (on-site) developing agent-based models of the Circular Economy. You will design, implement and analyse agent-based models of industrial symbiosis, material flows and circular business model adoption across regions and sectors. Responsibilities: - Develop and validate agent-based models of circular economy systems - Collect and analyse empirical data on material flows and industrial symbiosis - Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences - Contribute to teaching and supervision of master's students Requirements: - MSc in computer science, industrial ecology, sustainability, economics or related - Strong programming skills (Python, NetLogo or similar) - Experience with agent-based modelling and simulation - Fluent English; Dutch desirable
